This combo tool chest adds some exciting new features to an already popular design. 1 of new features in this black tool chest combo is the pull-out wooden work surface in the lower right-hand drawer of the chest. This drawer will lock into place when fully-extended to create a work station to put a laptop. The wood top is also hinged so you can lift it up to store your tools and supplies.

Another new feature is the addition of a 550 Lumens LED light bar integrated into the chest lid, which will provide additional lighting to your workspace. Constructed of high-grade, all-welded 18-Gauge steel construction and finished with tough, heavy-duty textured black powder-coat paint, this 52 in tool chest unit is built to last.

Drawers are all full-extension and glide on ball bearing slides that can support up to 120 lbs. These slides also have a soft-close retention system that pulls drawers completely closed and ensures they are secured. The reinforced top lid is supported by gas struts, making it easier to open and close, while the back of the top till has a large magnetic plate providing storage and quick access to frequently used tools. Also inside the lid are 8 electrical outlets, 4 USB ports that allow you to securely charge tools and devices while unit is locked.

Very heavy duty and feels like it will last a lifetime. Others in the same price range were much lighter weight and the drawers were not heavy duty. The cord for the light is annoying as it is in the way and not really mounted, but that's because the light is magnetic and moveable. Came assembled and ready to go. My boyfriend absolutely adores it. So many cool and useful specs that we've been finding out about it. Good quality except middle drawer with wood top sticks.
